Justy Dennis is the product of a hippy upbringing in the tiny town of Matheson, Ontario. Her parents were creatives and her four sisters were a source of friendship, torture and endless laughter. Actually, her real name is Lisa but later in life she adopted Justy as her “street” name.
Her father, Bob, was a great influence in innovation, and instilled a deep love for the natural world. Her mother, Olga was a tsunami of creative projects, most of which were items of necessities like clothes, furniture and toys.
Justy has dipped her hands into many art forms but her main “go to” are yarnbombing and painting.
